Role

As Electrical Assembly & Test Engineer you will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical equipment and components for Impulse Printing products. In this role you will work closely together with the engineering team to continuously improve the manufacturability and performance of the impulse tool.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic and quality control tests for impulse printheads.

  • Build an efficient assembly line for manufacturing of impulse printheads.

  • Perform electrical measurements on different sub-components.

  • Report the test results and communicate your progress to the rest of the team.

  • Create test setups for experimental research tools.

  • Support outsourcing of sub-components for impulse printing equipment.

 

About you

You are a team player who is result oriented and hands on. You get excited by solving problems with simple solutions. You are structured and great at keeping a clear track of the performed tests. You are proactive and can work independently.  You are passionate about technology and are not afraid  to build this new Impulse tool with colleagues in a start-up environment.

 

Qualifications

Core

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical assembly and testing.

  • Hands on experience in wiring electronic equipment and validate these devices.

·         Independently perform electronic tests.  Detect possible problems and interact with colleagues to find solutions and perform test in a structured matter and document results.

  • MBO-niveau 4/HBO Electrical Engineering or similar working experience.

  • Good and pro-active communication skills in English and/or Dutch

·         Quality control of multiple electronic/mechanical components.

·         Ability to set-up an assembly line. Find practical solution to integrate different type of components.

 

Assets

·         Experience in measuring electronic equipment.

·         Can design and/or read schematics in E-plan.

·         Experience in outsourcing electronic subsystems.

·         Proficient in Dutch.
